Pirojpur,
May 2 (UNB) – Two people, including a minor boy, were killed in
separate road accidents in Bhandaria and sadar thana today (Tuesday).
The
victims were identified as a bus helper Shahjahan Hawlader, 50, and an
8-year-old boy Meraj Mallik of Ghatichor village in Mathbaria thana.
Shahjahan
died as he suddenly fell under the wheels of his bus just after its
restart from Charkhali stoppage in Bhandaria at about 8 am.
In
another accident at Baleswar Ferryghat in sadar thana, a Satkhira-bound
bus from Pirojpur hit Meraj while boarding on the ferry. Meraj died on
the spot.
