Pirojpur,
June 27 (UNB) – Construction works on 64 community clinics,
involving Tk 1.47 crore, are proceeding in six upazilas of the
district.
Officials
said the clinics are being set up with financial assistance from
Islamic Development Bank.
Nine
of the clinics are being constructed in Bhandaria, four in Kaokhali,
16 in Mothbaria,10 in Nazirpur, 12 in Sadar and 13 in Nesarabad
upazilas.
Meanwhile,
70 per cent works have been completed while the rest is likely to be
finished by July, bringing medical facilities to the doorsteps of the
rural people.
