          Apr 27 (UNB)- In an effort to infuse dynamism in the rural economy
          Bangladesh Krishi Bank has launched a program of disbursing Tk 108.38
          crore in greater Faridpur district for generating self-employment. 
           
          
          
           
          The
          bank is disbursing loans to help youths for self employment through
          psiculture, cattle rearing, agro-based industries side by crop farming
          in five districts of the region to solve the unemployment problem. 
           
          
          
           
          Officials
          of BKB regional office in Faridpur said the bank through its 84
          branches has already disbursed Tk 70.11 crore among 47,910 farmers
          during the last month. 
           
          
          
           
          Bank
          recovered Tk 71.61 crore outstanding loans from the farmers as against
          its loan recovery target of Tk 76.80 crore for the current fiscal
          year.
