Children home annex complex to be built |

August 4, 2000 Rajbari,
Aug 3 (UNB) - The government has taken up a project to construct a Shishu
Paribar Complex on the premises of Children Home here at a cost of Tk 2.71
crore. State
Minister for Social Welfare Dr Mozammel Hossain laid the foundation stone
of the complex on Wednesday. The
complex will be set up on 2.60 acres of land under the supervision of
Social Welfare Department (SWD). In
another programme, the state minister distributed interest-free loan
totalling Tk 3.50 lakh among 104 people and handed over monthly allowance
to 20 distressed women.
