          Rangpur,
          Apr 10 (UNB) – Construction of an embankment along the Teesta river
          at a cost of about Tk 4 crore is going on full swing to check the
          river erosion. 
           
          
           
          Water
          Development Board is implementing the 1460-feet-long, 40-feet- wide
          and three-feet-height embankment in the current fiscal year. 
           
          
           
          The
          Superintendent Engineer (Circle-2) told UNB that about 60 percent work
          has already been completed and the rest will be completed soon.
