May 14 (UNB) – A UP chairman in Shyamnagar thana and four of his
associates were arrested recently on charge of grabbing smuggled goods
recovered by BDR.
According
to police, chairman of Nakipur Union Jaglul Haider and four of his
associates, including Sakti Sekhar, were arrested as they allegedly
snatched smuggled goods from BDR in February.
They
were sent to jail after the magistrate rejected their bail petitions.
