May 16 (UNB) – A middle-aged man and his son were killed in a
lightning at Rajanagar in Kalaroa on Monday.
Villagers
said Ali Hossain, 40, and his son Saiful Islam, 20, died on the spot
when a streak of thunderbolt struck them while working in a paddy
filed.
Another
report adds: A three-year-old boy, Rabiul Islam, son of Fazlur Rahman
of Rajabazar, drowned as he slipped into their pond while playing on
its bank with another kid.
