Satkhira
(UNB) – Police arrested a man along with 28 bottles of Indian wine
from river Isamati at Uksha on Thursday.
Police
said they arrested Sharidul Islam of Gauaripur village in Shyamnagar
upazila while he was returning home with the liquor from India.
Another
report from Chapainawabganj adds: Police seized 103 bottles of
Phensidyl and arrested two people in this connection from Rani Bazar
on the day.
The
arrested were identified as Enamul, 22, and Masud Rana, 20, of
Nawabganj area.
