June 6 (UNB) – Two people, one of them a woman, were killed
allegedly by their brothers in separate incidents in the district on
Friday-Saturday.
Police
said Shahanara Begum, 22, wife of Khalil of Kushkhali village in Sadar,
was killed by her brother after a family feud on Friday.
In
another incident, Nazrul Islam, 45, of Gobindapur village in Assasuni
upazila was beaten to death by his brother following a dispute over
the demarcation of a land on Saturday.
Two
cases were filed.
