23 August (UNB) - Youth Development Department distributed Tk 12 lakh
soft loan among 88 unemployed but trained youths of the district.
Agriculture
Minister Matia Chowdhury handed over cheques against the loans to the
recipients at the BRDB hall room in Nakla while Atiqur Rahman MP at
the local town hall on August 15, the national Mourning Day.
Officials
said the borrowers would utilise the loan in poultry farming, cattle
rearing, pisciculture and cottage industries.
Later,
certificates were distributed among the youths who received training
on computer and the winners of an essay competition.
