Sunamganj, Jan 19 (UNB) – A motorbike driver was slaughtered allegedly by two unknown passengers in Biswambarpur upazila here Thursday night while he was carrying them to frontier Customs station Barachara.
Local people said Mujibar Rahman, who used to drive motorbike on rent, was killed when he reached at Monaichara on Sunamganj-Teketghat road at about 11pm.
The assailants also took away the motorbike of Mujibar, who hailed from South Badaghat of Tahirpur upazila.
Recovering the body this morning, local people informed the police about the incident.
