          Sunamganj,
          Apr 25 (UNB) - Harvesting of Boro crops is being hampered due to acute
          shortage of agricultural workers in 10 upazilas of the district. 
            
          
           
          Agriculture
          officials said farmers in the district have embarked on crop gathering
          a bit earlier this year to avert natural disasters that cause huge
          loss to crops. 
            
          
           
          Some
          1,58,770 hectares of land were brought under boro farming in the
          district this year and the farmers are expecting a bumper production.  
            
          
           
          Meanwhile,
          the new paddy has hit the market knocking down its price. It’s now
          selling at Tk 150-200 per maund.
