Apr 26 (UNB) – A young farm worker was killed and two others
received injuries in lightning at Nakoura haor in Sadar thana on
Monday.
Shah
Alam (30) who hailed from Bokbanda village of Roumari thana in
Kurigram, was struck by lightning when he was returning from
the field after harvesting paddy at about 11 am.
Two
others unidentified farm workers injured by the thunderbolt were
rushed to local hospital.
A
UD case was filed with the police.
