May 26 (UNB) - Jamalgarh-Tahirpur road in Sadar upazila has been
renamed after a teacher who was stabbed to death by miscreants on the
road.
Local
UP chairman Abdul Jalil renamed the road after Oli Mohammad, a teacher
of Jamalgarh Primary School, in the wake of demands by the locals.
The
teacher was killed on the road on April 7 1999 following a brawl over
a marriage of his fellow-villager.
