Sylhet, Jan 14 (UNB)- A new police station will be set up at Tajpur in Balaganj upazila.
The new Osmani Nagar thana is expected to be formally inaugurated this month, police sources said.
With this, the number of police station in the district will be 13.
The new thana will include eight unions of Balaganj upazila. These are Osmanpur, Dayamir, Tajpur, Goalabazar, Omarpur, Burunga, West Pailenpur and Shadipur.
