Sylhet, Feb 7 (UNB)- A project has been taken to construct a public library in the town here at a cost of over Tk 3.78 crore.
Sports and Cultural Affairs Ministry will construct the four-storied library bhaban costing about Tk 2.50 crore on 38 decimal land beside the Sylhet Stadium.
The rest amount will be spent in constructing a rest house, staff quarters, boundary wall and internal roads. The work is likely to be completed by next three years.
After completion of the project the people of the district will get the facility of a modern public library.
