          Sylhet,
          June 13 (UNB) – A mother and her three children were buried alive in
          landslide on their mud-house amid rain at Ranokeli Dakkhin village in
          Golapganj upazila early today. 
           
          
           
          Majia
          Begum, 28, her son Juned, 11, daughters Ruli, 7, and Ruma, 3, died
          instantly when the tragedy struck the poor family at about 2am while
          all were asleep.  
           
          
           
          Majia’s
          husband, Habib Ali, was injured as mud and water deluged their
          hillside home. 
           
          
           
          Meanwhile,
          some 3 lakh inhabitants of Goainghat, Companiganj, Jaintapur and
          Jakiganj upazilas have been marooned amid incessant rain coupled with
          onrush of hill waters in the last few days. 
           
          
           
          Croplands
          of some 70,000 hectares have also been submerged in the flash floods. 
           
          
           
          Some
          50,000 day-labourers have become jobless as stone collection from the
          quarries stopped due to inclement weather.
