July 3 (UNB) – A scout-training center will be set up on 5.12 acres
of land on the outskirts of the town at a cost of Tk 23 lakh.
Regional
scout president and chairman of Sylhet Education Board Prof Mohammad
Nazim Uddin disclosed this while addressing the triennial council
session of regional scouts recently.
He
said necessary funds have already been disbursed from the headquarters
for the construction of the centre.
The
president urged the scouts to put in extra efforts to strengthen the
scout movement.
