Sept 23 (UNB) - Two bridges will be constructed over the river
Kushiyara in the district involving Tk 42.12 crore in the current
financial year.
One
of the bridges will be constructed at Bandarpur on Bianibazar-Dhaka
Dakkhin road at a cost of Tk 21.30 crore while the other at Bahar on
Golapganj-Amura-Bianibazar road involving Tk 20.82 crore.
In
a bid to develop communication network in the area, Roads and Highways
Department has already taken up a plan to construct a new feeder-road
connecting Bianibazar, Golapganj and Fenchuganj upazilas, sources
said.
Meantime,
some Tk 61 crore has been earmarked for constructing the 52-kilometer
feeder road.
