Tangail
(UNB) – A man was sentenced to life term in jail by a court here for
killing his wife.
The
court also fined Rafiqul Islam of Uzala Madhyapara village in Sadar Tk
5,000, in default, to suffer three months more in jail.
The
case history in brief: Rafiqul Islam strangled his wife to death
following a family feud on June 16, 1998.
After
examining records and witnesses, the Additional District and Sessions
Judge pronounced the judgement on June 8.
