Thakurgaon, Mar 28 (UNB) – Jatiyatabadi lawyers’ Oikya Parishad swept the local bar council polls held on Tuesday.
Sources said Asgar Hossain and Abdul Halim were elected president and general secretary respectively while only an executive committee member was elected from Sammilito Lawyers’ coordination Council.
Some 97 voters exercised their franchise in the polls held peacefully.
