Swedish grant for Bangladesh |

Dhaka, Apr 10 (UNB) – Bangladesh will receive Tk 7 crore in Swedish grants under an additional agreement on Personnel and Consultancy Fund signed here today. Joint Chief of Economic Relations Division AKM Khairul Alam and Swedish Ambassador Anders Johnson signed the accord at the ERD on behalf of the respective side. An official release said the amount is in addition to Tk 3 crore provided to the fund under the main agreement signed last December. The additional grant assistance will be utilised to facilitate planning, monitoring, evaluation of programmes and projects under Swedish assistance. It will also finance consultancy services and training in areas having relevance for strengthening administrative and technical capabilities.
