Grameen Phone in Barishal |

Dhaka, Apr 11 (UNB) - Grameen Phone Limited will launch its mobile phone service in Barisal on Saturday to provide more effective service to its valued subscribers. President Justice Shahabuddin Ahmed will launch the service by making the first phone call from Bangabhaban. Home, Post and Telecommunication Minister Mohammad Nasim will be present at the launching ceremony as chief guest while Chief Whip Abul Hasnat Abdullah as the guest of honor. The Grameen Phone service will be part of a microwave link connecting Chittagong and Khulna, and this will form a loop in the GP network in the country, said a press release.
