Dhaka, Apr 29 (UNB) - Week's trading at Dhaka Stock Exchange began today (Saturday) marking a slight rise in its benchmark though the losers dominated over the gainers.

All Share Price Index at the country's main bourse rose by 0.65 points or 0.12 per cent to close at 521.75 points from Thursday’s 521.10 points.

Of the 167 listed securities traded today, 81 declined, 63 advanced and 23 remained unchanged.

Some 1,324,768 shares and debenture valued at Tk 9.31 crore changed hands as against 1,375,396 shares worth Tk 9.34 crore on the previous trading day.

Beximco Pharma (136,050), Rahima Food (132,750), Dhaka Fisheries (105,300), Miracle Ind (62,500) and NBL (49,800) were among the volume leaders.

Market capitalization stood at Tk 48.94 billion from Tk 48.88 billion on Thursday).
