Apr 6 (UNB) – Week’s trading at Dhaka Stock Exchange closed today
(Thursday) marking a fall in its benchmark. All
Share Price Index at the country’s main bourse shed 1.47 points or 0.28
percent to close at 515.43 points from Wednesday’s 516.90 points. Of
the 161 listed securities traded today, 77 declined, 61 advanced and 23
remained unchanged. Some
1,674,521 shares and debentures valued at Tk 7.31 crore changed hands as
against 1,113,066 shares worth Tk 7.24 crore on the previous trading day. Raspit
(706,000), BD Welding (138,000), Sino Bangla (110,500), Beximco Pharma
(69,900) Rangpur Foundry (49,000) and Paper Proc (41,950) were the volume
leaders. Market
capitalization stood at Tk 47.62 billion from Tk 47.76 billion on
Wednesday.
