Dhaka, Apr 30 (UNB) – Day’s trading at the Dhaka Stock Exchange finished lower today (Sunday) posting 1.63 percent fall in its benchmark as the losers outnumbered the gainers.

All Share Price Index at the country's main bourse shed 1.63 points or 0.43 percent to close at 519.47 point from Saturday’s 521.75 points.

Of the 174 listed securities traded today, 94 declined, 57 advanced and 23 remained unchanged.

Some 1,179,977 shares and debentures worth Tk 8.06 crore were transacted today as against 1,324,768 shares valued at Tk 9.31 crore on the previous trading day.

Northern (103,600), BD Welding (79,500) and Paragon (69,600) were among the volume leaders.

Market capitalization stood at Tk 48.73 billion from Tk 48.94 billion on Saturday.
