Chittagong, May 10 (UNB) – Despite the gainers outnumbered the losers, trading at the Chittagong Stock Exchange closed lower today (Wednesday). All Share Price Index at the country’s second bourse shed by 3.40 points or 0.31 percent to close at 1086.31 points from Tuesday’s 1089.71 points. Of the 69 listed securities traded today, 30 gained, 25 declined and 14 remained unchanged. Some 824,163 shares and debentures worth Tk 3.39 crore changed hands as against 343,260 shares valued at Tk 1.95 crore on the previous day. Dynamic Tex (390,340), Sino Bangla (137,000), Rangpur Foundry (108,500) and Rahima Food (46,300) were among the volume leaders. Market capitalisation stood at Tk 40.10 billion from Tk 40.22 billion on Tuesday.
