Chittagong, May 13 (UNB) – Week’s trading at Chittagong Stock Exchange began today (Saturday) marking a rise at its benchmark as the gainers dominated over the losers. All Share Price Index at the country's second bourse gained 3.12 points or 0.28 per cent to close at 1092.28 points from Thursday’s 1089.16 points. Of the 59 listed securities traded today, 29 gained, 23 declined and seven remained unchanged. Some 545,346 shares and debentures worth Tk 2.53 crore changed hands as against 630,960 shares valued at Tk 3.01 crore on the previous day. Market capitalisation stood at Tk 40.31 billion from Tk 40.20 billion on Thursday. |
