Chittagong,
May 15 (UNB) – Trading at the Chittagong Stock Exchange closed higher
today (Sunday) although terms in both volume and value declined. The
All Share Price Index at the country's second bourse gained 2.73 points or
0.25 per cent to close at 1096.45 points from Sunday’s 1093.72 points. Of
the 70 listed securities traded today, 45 gained, 17 declined and eight
remained unchanged. Some
622,165 shares and debentures valued at Tk 2.81 crore changed hands on the
day as against 751,230 shares and debentures worth Tk 3.42 crore on the
previous day. Market
capitalisation stood at Tk 40.79 billion from Tk 40.35 billion on Sunday. |
