Chittagong, May 23 (UNB) – Trading at the Chittagong Stock Exchange finished lower today (Tuesday) with the losers dominating over the gainers.
All Share Price Index at the country’s second bourse shed by 3.59 points or 0.33 percent to close at 1099.38 points from Monday’s 1102.98 points.
Of the 58 listed securities traded today, 16 gained, 37 declined and 5 remained unchanged.
Some 470,050 shares and debentures worth Tk 2.82 changed hands as against 726,937 shares valued at Tk 4.36 crore on the previous trading day.
Dynamic Textile (239,420), Sreepur Textile (65,700), Shine Pukur (37,800), Sino Bangla (22,500) and Meghna Cement (15,400) were among the volume leaders.
Market capitalization stood at Tk 41.81 billion from Tk 41.93 billion on Monday.
