Chittagong, May 6 (UNB) – Trading at the Chittagong Stock Exchange finished higher on the opening day of the week today (Saturday) as the gainers outnumbered the losers. All Share Price Index at the country’s second bourse gained 3.79 points or 0.35 percent to close at 1087.43 points from Thursday’s 1083.64 points. Of the 62 listed securities traded today, 35 gained, 20 declined and seven remained unchanged. Some 404,425 shares and debentures valued at Tk 1.8 crore were transacted as against 130,735 shares worth at Tk 0.59 crore on the previous trading day. Shine Pukur (44,550), Sino Bangla (40,500), Rahima Food (40,300) and Chix Tex (20,500) were among the volume leaders. Market capitalisation stood at Tk 40.14 billion as against Tk 40.02 billion on Thursday.
