Dhaka,
May 7 (UNB) – Trading at Dhaka Stock Exchange closed today (Sunday) with
a negligible fall in its benchmark as the losers outnumbered the gainers. All
Share Price Index at the country's main bourse dropped by 0.01 points or
0.002 per cent to close at 516.84 points from Saturday’s 516.85 points. Of
the 172 listed securities traded today, 60 advanced, 89 declined and 23
remained unchanged. Some
1,325,204 shares and debentures valued at TK 7.54 crore were transacted as
against 1,338,169 shares worth Tk 8.38 crore on the previous trading day. Dynamic
Textiles (212,240), Meghna Vegetable (180,300) and Legacy Foot (128,500)
were among the day’s volume leaders. Market
capitalisation remained nearly unchanged at Tk 48.48 billion on Saturday. |
