Dhaka, May 31 (UNB) – As the gainers strongly dominated the losers, trading at Dhaka Stock Exchange finished higher today (Wednesday). All Share Price Index at the country’s main bourse gained 2.48 points or 0.65 per cent to close at 532.90 points from Tuesday’s 529.42 points. Of the 170 listed securities traded today, 119 advanced, 31 declined and 20 remained unchanged. Some 5,493,109 shares and debentures valued at Tk 9.54 crore changed hands as against 2,888,145 shares worth Tk 6.74 crore on the previous trading day. AIMS First Mutual Fund (8,875,500), Dynamic Textile (219,520) and Rangpur Foundry (105,000) were among the day’s volume leaders. Market capitalisation stood at Tk 50.45 billion from 50.12 billion on Tuesday.
