SingTel signs pact with US Spot Cast |

SINGAPORE (AP) - SingTel Mobile, a unit of Singapore Telecommunications, has signed a pact with U.S.-based SpotCast Communications to provide free call services from Thursday.
The service, called 1911-FreeCall, will give customers up to 100 minutes of free airtime a month, the companies said in a joint statement.
Customers can avail of two minutes of free talk time per call, by dialing 1911 followed by the telephone number. Callers will hear 20 seconds of advertising before the call is connected, the statement said.
Based in Washington D.C., SpotCast Communications is a company that develops and implements an advertising-sponsored mobile phone service technology that allows advertisers to better target their telephone audience. |
