DSE index falls slightly |

Dhaka, (UNB) – Trading at the Dhaka stock Exchange closed lower Saturday marking a slight fall in its benchmark index.
All Share Price Index at the country’s main bourse shed 0.32 points or 0.05 percent to close at 547.60 points from Wednesday’s 547.92 points.Of the 181 listed securities traded yesterday, 93 advanced, 81 declined and seven remained unchanged.
Some 2,987,007 shares and debentures valued at Tk 10.84 crore changed hands as against 4,083,300 shares worth Tk. 10.39 crore on the previous trading day.
AIMs First Mutual Fund (912,500), Rangpur Foundry (317,500), Meghna Shrimp (257,240), and Quasem Drycell (110,700) were among the day’s volume leaders.
Market capitalization stood at Tk 51.84 billion from Tk 51.48 billion Wednesday. |
