Dhaka (UNB)– The 94th auction of the 28-day, 91-day, 182-day, 364-day, 2-year and 5-year treasury bills were held here yesterday (Sunday).
Some Tk 1569 crore, Tk 2.5 crore, Tk 108.5 crore, Tk 91.50 crore and Tk 61 crore were offered respectively for the 28-day, 91-day, 182-day, 364-day and 2-year bills.
Of these, Tk 1558 crore, Tk 2 crore, Tk 100.5 crore, Tk 87 crore and Tk 56 crore in total of Tk 1803.5 crore of 28-day, 91-day, 182-day, 364-day and 2-year bills were accepted respectively.
The ranges of the implicit yields were 6.00-6.11 percent, 6.30 percent, 7.00-7-05percent, 7.60-7.72 percent and 8.36-8.50 percent per annum respectively.
No bids were offered for the 5-year bill. Due to maturity of the bills, the total amount of Tk 1553.50 crore will retire in the current week.
As a result the net amount of the issuing bills will stand at Tk 250 crore in this week.
