Gainers outnumbered the losers at CSE |

Chittagong (UNB)– Trading at the Chittagong Stock Exchange finished higher yesterday as the gainers outnumbered the losers.
All Share Price Index at the country’s second bourse shed gained 10.48 points or 0.89 percent to close at 1184.53 points from Sunday’s 1174.05 points. Of the 68 listed securities traded today, 32 gained, 23 declined and 13 remained unchanged. Some 2,464,010 shares and debentures worth Tk 7.97 crore were transacted today as against 1,041,745 shares valued at Tk 3.50 crore on the previous trading day. Quasem Dry-cells (440,000), Beximco Pharmaceuticals (340,300), Aims First Guaranteed (167,500), Sino Bangla Industries (146,000) and Chic Tex Limited (141,500) were among the volume leaders. Market capitalisation stood at Tk 45.20 billion as against Tk 44.88 billion on Sunday.
