Chittagong (UNB)– Trading at the Chittagong Stock Exchange finished higher on Tuesday as the gainers outnumbered the losers.
All Share Price Index at the country’s second bourse gained 4.87 points or 0.41 percent to close at 1189.40 points from Monday’s 1184.53 points.
Of the 76 listed securities traded today, 34 gained, 33 declined and nine remained unchanged.
Some 1,969,335 shares and debentures worth Tk 6.48 crore were transacted today as against 2,464,010 shares valued at Tk 7.97 crore on the previous day.
Market capitalization stood at Tk 45.36 billion today as against Tk 45.20 billion on Monday.
