Chittagong (UNB)– As the losers dominated the gainers, the main index at Chittagong Stock Exchange marked a significant fall.
All Share Price Index at the country’s second bourse declined by 15.46 points or 1.29 percent to close at 1173.94 points from Tuesday’s 1189.40 points.
Of the 64 listed securities traded yesterday, 14 gained, 38 declined and 12 remained unchanged.
Some 1,303,945 shares and debentures worth Tk 4.21 crore were transacted today as against 1,969,335 shares valued at Tk 6.48 crore on the previous day.
AIMS First Guaranteed (230,000), Beximco Pharma (171,800) and Sino Bangla (129,500) were among the volume leaders.
Market capitalization stood at Tk 44.83 billion as against Tk 45.36 billion on Tuesday.
