Week’s trading at the Dhaka Stock Exchange began with a slight fall |

Dhaka, June 3 (UNB) – Week’s trading at the Dhaka Stock Exchange began today (Saturday) with a slight fall in its benchmark index. All Share Price Index at the country’s main bourse lost 0.36 points or 0.06 percent to close at 530.82 points from Thursday’s 531.18 points. Of the 167 listed securities traded today, 79 declined, 62 gained and 26 remained unchanged. Some 2,513,014 shares and debentures valued at Tk 7.87 crore changed hands as against 2,835,207 shares worth Tk 8.59 crore on the previous trading day. Market capitalisation stood at Tk 50.25 billion from Thursday’s Tk 50.29 billion.
