Index at Dhaka Stock Exchange marked a further rise |

Dhaka, (UNB) – Price index at the Dhaka Stock Exchange marked a further rise yesterday (Tuesday) despite the losers dominated the gainers. All Share Price Index at the country’s main bourse gained 0.62 points or 0.11 per cent to close at 536.13 points from Monday’s 535.51 points. Of the 175 listed securities traded today, 69 advanced, 79 declined and 27 remained unchanged. Some 2,278,541 shares and debentures worth Tk 13.85 crore changed hands as against 3,883,757 shares valued at Tk 11.71 crore on the previous day. Aims 1st Mutual Fund (505,000), Raspit (241,500), Meghna Chemical (197,850), Dynamic Textile (181,040) and Rangpur Foundry (146,000) were among the day’s volume leaders. Market capitalization stood at Tk 50.76 billion from Tk 50.70 billion on Monday. |
