Chittagong (UNB) – Chittagong Stock Exchange continued to show downward spiral for the second straight day yesterday with the losers dominating the gainers.

The CSE All Share Price Index lost 1.65 points or 0.14 per cent to close at 1116.09 points from Tuesday’s 1117.74 points.

Of the 69 listed securities traded today, 27 gained, 32 declined and 10 remained unchanged.

Some 797,045 shares and debentures worth Tk 5.32 crore were transacted as against 588,605 shares valued at Tk 5.32 crore on the previous trading day.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 42.88 billion from Tk 42.94 billion on Tuesday.
