Chittagong (UNB) - Although the losers outnumbered the gainers, the main index at Chittagong Stock Exchange marked a slight rise yesterday. The CSE All Share Price Index gained 0.21 points or 0.01 percent to close at 1441.97 points from 1441.76 points Tuesday. Of the 75 listed securities traded yesterday, 25 gained, 40 declined and 10 remained unchanged. Some 2,317,770 shares and debentures valued at Tk 7.33 crore were transacted as against 2,657,640 shares worth Tk 7.37 crore on the previous day. Quasem Drycells (549,200), AIMS First Guaranteed MF (315,000), BD Welding (265,500), Miracle Industry (224,500), Chic Tex (174,000), Beximco Pharma (149,800) and Fu-Wang Food (129,500) were among the volume leaders. Market capitalisation remained unchanged at Tk 54.40 billion.
