Dhaka (UNB)- The Special Committee dealing with exemption of credit interest of sick industries requested the entrepreneurs to bring their unresolved cases to it before its tenure expires on December 31 this year. Scheduled to end by June, the Committee’s tenure was extended for six months to facilitate settlement of the pending cases praying waiver of cumulated interest on bank loans. The Committee sought cooperation from the entrepreneurs in settling their cases within the extended timeframe, a Bangladesh Bank press release said yesterday (Monday). It also advised all concerned to settle the cases already recommended by the Committee. Entrepreneurs are requested to contact the Committee’s office in rooms 1 and 2 on the 6th floor of the central bank head office. |
