Dhaka (UNB) - Trading at the Dhaka Stock Exchange finished higher yesterday (Saturday) with the gainers outnumbering the losers.

All Share Price Index at the country's main bourse rose by 5.95 points or 0.92 per cent to close at 652.87 points from Thursday's 646.92 points.

Of the 169 listed securities traded yesterday, 92 gained, 59 declined and 18 remained unchanged.

Some 4,601,386 shares and debentures valued at Tk 24.53 crore were traded yesterday as against 4,675,772 shares worth Tk 21.75 crore on the previous trading day.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 61.96 billion from Tk 61.40 billion on Thursday.
