Chittagong (UNB) – The main Index at Chittagong Stock Exchange continued to fall for the second straight day yesterday (Monday) as the losers dominated the gainers.

The CSE All Share Price Index shed 5.20 points or 0.37 percent to close at 1391.10 from Sunday’s 1396.30 points.

Of the 66 listed securities traded yesterday, 16 gained, 45 declined and five remained unchanged.

Some 1,521,970 shares and debentures worth Tk 4.89 crore changed hands as against 1,329,200 shares valued at Tk 5.08 crore on the previous trading day.

Market capitalization stood at Tk 52.70 billion as against Tk 52.88 billion on Sunday.
