Dhaka (UNB) – Price Index at Dhaka Stock Exchange finished lower yesterday (Saturday) as losers heavily dominated the gainers.

The DSE All Share Price Index lost 6.93 points or 1.09 percent to close at 628.77 points from Thursday’s 635.70 points.

Of the 165 listed securities traded yesterday, 105 declined, 41 advanced and 19 remained unchanged.

Some 4,602,741 shares and debentures worth Tk 15.69 crore were transacted as against 2,761,724 shares valued at Tk 13.08 crore on the previous trading day.

AIMS First Guaranteed (995,000), Raspit (532,500), Beximco Pharma (503,600), Ashraf Textile (462,800) and Fuwang Food (217,000) were among the day’s volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 59.67 billion from Tk 60.33 billion on Thursday.
