Dhaka (UNB) - Dhaka Stock Exchange marked 7.78 points fall in its benchmark yesterday (Sunday) as the losers heavily outnumbered the gainers.

The DSE All Share Price Index shed by 1.17 percent or 7.78 points to close at 653.86 points from Saturday's 661.64 points.

Of the 165 listed securities traded yesterday, 27 gained, 124 declined and 14 remained unchanged.

Some 3,063,876 shares and debentures valued at Tk 16.99 crore changed hands as against 3,137,420 shares worth Tk 16.98 crore on the previous trading day.

Fu Wang Food (406,500), Bionic Food (346,000), Beximco Pharma (168,200), Miracle Industry (144,500) and Rangpur Foundry (124,500) were among the volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 62.06 billion from Tk 62.79 billion on Saturday.
