Dhaka (UNB) - Price index at the Dhaka Stock Exchange marked a rise yesterday (Monday) as turnover in terms of both volume and value increased.

The DSE All Share Price Index gained 0.26 points or 0.04 percent to close at 654.12 points from Sunday's 653.86 points.

Of the 162 listed securities traded yesterday, 81 gained, 57 declined and 24 remained unchanged.

Some 3,192,349 shares and debentures valued at 17.64 crore were transacted as against 3,063,876 shares worth Tk 16.99 crore on the previous trading day.

AIMS First Mutual Fund (837,500), Bionic Food (315,000), Fu Wang Food (197,000) and Miracle Industry (119,500) were among the day's volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 62.08 billion from Tk 62.06 billion on Sunday.
