Dhaka (UNB) – Price index at the Dhaka Stock Exchange marked a fall yesterday (Thursday) as the losers strongly dominated the gainers. The DSE All Share Price Index shed 7.16 points or 1.10 percent to close at 638.36 points from Wednesday’s 645.52 points. Of the 171 listed securities traded yesterday, 136 declined, 27 advanced and eight remained unchanged. Some 3,197,449 shares and debentures valued at Tk 16.41 crore were transacted as against 3,746,039 shares worth Tk 17.96 crore on the previous trading day. Market capitalisation stood at Tk 60.58 billion from Tk 61.26 billion on Wednesday. |
